Color Block Sweater + Jeans for Fall

Hey friends, I hope your week is off to a great start!

We are in Ashville, North Carolina, enjoying a few days away and celebrating 29 years of marriage. It’s beautiful here, and we are looking forward to some sightseeing and of course some delicious food.

Yesterday I wore this color block sweater from Glamour Farms on the drive down to Ashville. I love the colors in this sweater, especially the pop of green.

(Make sure you use code CYNDI10 for 10% off your purchase. The code can be used for anything at Glamour Farms, not just what I’m styling).

These jeans hit right at the top of my boot. Technically, I probably should have cuffed them and shown a little bit of my ankle, but I don’t always like the look of a cuffed jean.

So while they could be a slight bit shorter, I’m fine with them hitting the top of my boot.

I’m wearing these lightweight earrings from Glamour Farms.

I think the sweater is long enough for black leggings if you want to wear them.

I love a pretty color block sweater that is unique, don’t you?

Thank you for taking the time out of your day to stop by my blog. I’m also on FacebookPinterest, and Instagram.

Beauty For the Heart~~ I’m a morning person. I love to get up around 5 or 5:30 and start my day. Of course, I start with coffee, and then I spend time reading scripture and praying.

Psalm 5:3 says, In the morning, Lord, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait expectantly.

Have a blessed day!

  1. Happy Anniversary! We are headed to Asheville next week to celebrate our 39th anniversary! Love your blog and look forward to your emails daily!!

  2. That sweater is perfect for a fall getaway. Love it! We just returned from Asheville, celebrating our 40th Anniversary. We toured The Biltmore, drove on the Blue Ridge Parkway, and enjoyed the delicious restaurants. Living in Indiana, we don’t get to see mountains, so we took in all God’s glory!! Happy Anniversary!

  3. Happy Anniversary! We have a trip planned for Christmas at the Biltmore in early November. Hopefully there will still be some pretty fall colors. Thanks for BFTH each day.

  4. Happy anniversary! Have a blessed trip! I echo the others’ comments: would love to see your wedding photos, if you feel comfortable to share. Have a great vacation! That color block sweater is pretty!

  5. Happy Anniversary! I love your entire outfit!! Also I really look forward to seeing your email and blog daily! You’re a great inspiration to others as well as a very classy lady!

  6. Love the colors in this sweater. I finally was able to wear a sweater last weekend. Of course it’s back in the 80’s here in Alabama so no sweaters this week. I can’t wait to see the fall leaves this weekend on a trip to TN. Happy Anniversary!

  7. What a cute outfit!! Happy Anniversary!! Enjoy your trip. If you can find a color block sweater or cardi that has vertical stripes instead of horizontal would you please share where they are!!! LOL As much as i LOVE the look, it makes me look more wide than i already am! Working on that tho!!!

  8. What a gorgeous sweater ! Wishing you both a Happy Anniversary 💕. Sounds like a beautiful place to visit. I agree please share a pic of your wedding day and perhaps some pics of the mountains:) my husband has family in North Carolina and has always said he’d pick there to live if we were living in the states… Enjoy!
I also like to start my day with the Lord not as early as you though 😉 lol

  9. I love the entire outfit!!! You’re very inspiring and I love reading your daily blog. I have trouble with how to cuff or not cuff and I’m not a big fan of holes. Distressed jeans look great on some younger gals but to me it makes me look sloppy and at my age I want to look classy! I love these! Have a fun vacation!!!

  10. Happy anniversary!
    Enjoy Asheville
We are just down the mountain from you!
Hope you get to go to the Biltmore estate

  11. I think I would like the sweater better with black leggings. And I agree-sometimes cuffing jeans so skin shows just makes a gal’s legs look shorter. Depends on the top.
Anyway, have a great trip! Asheville is such a nice city!

  12. Do you have any recommendations for low rise jeans? I can’t wear mid-rise or high rise, they do not look good on my body. LOVE THE SWEATER AND GLAMOUR FARMS.

  13. Ashville is such a cool city. We used to live just south of Asheville and I love that area. I am glad you are back with Glamour Farms. They are a great company with fun clothing items. Enjoy your trip!

  14. Hi Cyndi, that outfit is darling on you! I’m not crazy about cuffed jeans either unless super casual. I do like a little skin to show and learned this tip, I believe, from Erin at LIY. Instead of turning cuff up, turn it under and with skinny jeans the turned under cuff stays put! If you sit on the floor with legs stretched out, you can get them even.

  15. Good morning from Lake Toxaway, NC and happy anniversary! If you want a nice lunch in Asheville stop by The Grand Bohemian hotel. Free valet parking inside and you can leave your car there and walk around the shops!

  16. You’re my favorite influencer/blogger. Your styles, etc, but your love for the Lord stands out to me the most. One question, what time to do try and be in bed at night to get up that early? Lol

  17. 💞Happy Anniversary💞 29 Years!!

    Love the color block sweater….

Have a great time, we love Ashville.

    Blessings,
