Home For The Holidays Collection

Happy Thursday! Today we’re talking about holiday fashion! Who knows what our holidays will look like this year, so the Home for the Holidays collection between Gibsonlook and Hi Sugarplum has something for everyone.

They also included a 3-pack set of face masks that go with the collection.

The collection is fun, flirty, and chic, and to keep it affordable, I have an exclusive discount code, CYNDI20, for 20% off your purchase.

First up, I’m styling the Charlotte Ruffled V-Neck Top. It comes in several colors and is made of a thick satin (no wrinkling) with some slight stretch. I will wear a faux fur coat with this top.

I paired the top with the Brighton Satin Joggers. They have an elastic waistband, adjustable drawstring, and pull-on style. These have a straight leg, and they are so comfortable. Perfect for the holidays!

Next, I styled the Brighton Satin Joggers with the Whitney Satin Wrap Top. This beautiful top is made from the same thick satin and has puff sleeves and a peplum hem. It comes in a fuschia plaid color too.

If you’re staying in a lot over the holidays, these next two looks will keep you warm and cozy.

I’m styling the Abbey Kangaroo Pocket Hoodie with the Oxford Drawstring Joggers. Both of these pieces are soft and perfect for staying home and wrapping gifts all day.

The Camden Gathered Sleeve Crewneck comes in several colors, but I had to grab the leopard print. It is a medium weight fabric that wears like a sweater but feels like fleece. I love the slight gathering at the shoulder that gives it a feminine look.

I styled the crewneck with the Oxford Drawstring Joggers, but it would look cute with jeans too.

This is the Camden Gathered Sleeve Crewneck in black, and I love this color too. I will be grabbing this sweater all fall and winter.

There are so many ways to wear the Camden Gathered Sleeve Crewneck. I paired it with a Faux Fur Vest.

Beauty For the Heart~~ The name of the collection, Home for the Holidays, stirs up so many memories for me.

Oh, how I wish my Mom was still here and I could go home. Mom made Christmas so meaningful and we always celebrated the birth of Jesus.

Now, I want to make my home a place that my children and family want to come home too. I want my home to be full of love and grace and I definitely want to celebrate the reason for this season.

For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9:6

Have a blessed day!

    1. Hi Cyndi, I’m so glad you’re feeling better and safe at home! I like your green cardigan but could not find it in your post or on the Talbots sight, where can I find it, it’s beautiful! Thank you, Deb

  1. So glad you were protected from snakebite and covid was mild! We’re the grandkids and your daughter exposed/quarantined? This is so crazy! Do you know where you got it? Again God is sooooo good!

  2. Hi Cyndi, our Christmas family traditions will not change. However some if the community traditions will b/c of Covid. 😞

  3. I love your looks and your Christ like spirit ! Thanks for doing this!! But, today, Friday, every piece I click on says “temporarily out of service”.
I hope this is just quick temporary !
    Joy

  4. Hi Cyndi,
Since you are a former dental hygienist, I am wondering if you know if it’s possible to buy tooth whitening bleach over the counter. I have trays that I had made when I was with a previous dentist, but he retired and my new dentist does not sell tooth whitening bleach. Thanks in advance.
    Julie

  5. So glad you saw it before it ‘gotcha’. If I hear it once I hear 3 times a day from my husband ‘Please be careful in the yard. Watch where you put your hands, look twice. Copperheads are hard to seer!”

  6. Oh my gosh!!!! I’m so scared of snakes and so is my husband. I am sooo thankful you are okay. I don’t know much about copperheads but assuming they are poisonous???? I couldn’t have finished the hike.LOL Infact if I knew there was a chance anywhere I was hiking of a snake like that, I would not go.
I love the comfort of the Gibson line but don’t like how the material they make their loungewear in, balls up. It must be the polyester/Rayon blend. I love all the looks on you. I’m not quite ready for Christmas yet, but could use a little Christmas spirit(Jesus), like you said. I miss my dad at Christmas. He’s the one who always read the Christmas story before we opened our presents. So, I KNOW you must miss your mama. No matter what our days ahead look like, Jesus will be in them. That gives me comfort, as I’ve had a hard morning this morning. We had plans to go see my son, his wife and they are pregnant, but our trip today got canceled, as my son may have been exposed to covid at his fire station. Now its the wait game for them and we can’t be around them. Praying for safety for them and the baby for sure. I’m tired of worrying about my kids and grandkids and being home. We don’t feel safe traveling, other than seeing my kids. Just having a bad day, as we all do.

  7. I did not even see that snake in the picture and thought you were just showing your hike and the fall leaves. I am not afraid of snakes and this one cannot bite too high I understand. I am sure you had on some sturdy hiking boots so it would have had to jump which they cannot do. haha
Love every one of your outfits today. I have way too much in my carts right now so am gong to have to whittle down.
Love the comments on making your home a warm memory filled place for the holidays. I envy those who have family close enough to do that. We always have to travel many states away to be with grandkids – not the same.

  8. Oh my goodness that is a poisonous snake! Now that is really scary! Glad you both are fine.
Ordered the cute vest! Sometimes a coat can be a little too much in Alabama. Nice to have an option.
You look pretty in the collection. I think I may have to claim a piece or two. Hard to decide!

  9. Thankful you weren’t bitten!

AND, thankful you brought up Christmas. I put my tree up last Friday, and will pull out the Nativity and a few other things tmrrw!!

We NEED the splendor of Christ’s birthday right now!!

  10. Hi Cyndi! That is a miracle that the snake didn’t bite you! I’m so glad God protected you! I love the new holiday pieces and the faux fur vest! Bought two vests, one in black, and the other in brown and white. It will be fun to wear these this fall and winter. I bought the plaid sleeveless blouse as well. My husband and I will be in Florida on Christmas Day, so the blouse should be perfect for (hopefully) warmer weather. Thanks for your BFTH today. Your posts are always a blessing!

    1. Cyndi, I’m thankful you didn’t get bit! I’m proud of you to be able to laugh about it now. At least you have a good story to tell!
I love the holiday collection. Wish we had somewhere to dress up like that but the jogger sets are beautiful too!

  11. So glad you weren’t bitten. I !must say, if ever bitten by a snake. Call poison control in addition to seeking emergency treatment.

  12. I love CHRISTmas… however this year will be a bit different for us as Irecently lost my mother (very unexpectedly) and honeslty Im not sure what to expect…the best part is just last thanksgiving she gave me her mothers christmas dishes a tradition we used every christmas morning so I will get to carry onthat traditon with my family…
    Thanks for what you do!

    1. I’m so sorry Beth. I know how hard a “first” Christmas without your Mom feels. It will be different but I’m praying for comfort for you and your family.

  13. Can’t believe the Holidays are right around the corner! What a welcome time they will be this year! Could have done without the snake pic! Gross! I’m like Indiana Jones – I hate snakes! Glad you didn’t get bit! 💗
