Spring Dresses from Kohl’s

Tremendous thanks to Kohl’s and Collective Voice for sponsoring this post.

Spring is finally in the air here, and I’m ready to wear some pretty spring dresses. Kohl’s is a great place to shop for all your spring clothes, and today I’ve got dresses for spring and summer weddings, graduations, or even wedding and baby showers.

Spring Dresses from Kohls

1. Cinched-Waist Tiered-Hem Dress

This pretty feminine dress has long sleeves, which makes it nice if the weather is chilly.

The dress has a ruffle neckline with a smocked waist.

The dress is lined, and I paired the dress with nude sandals (similar option here)

2. Pleated T-Shirt Dress

You can’t go wrong with this pink dress. It has short sleeves, a crew neck, and a tie waist with side pockets.

3. V-Neck Smocked Sleeve Dress

Another long sleeve dress with a v-neck line and a tie waist. This dress comes in a blue stripe floral and the pink floral that I’m wearing.

Colorful heels are trending this year, so I styled several dresses with these block heels in a pretty pale pink color.

4. Flutter Sleeve Wrap Maxi Dress

If you like a maxi dress, this floral wrap dress with flutter sleeves is so pretty and has a high-low hem.

If you’re in between sizes, size down in this dress.

Beauty for the Heart™For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline. 2 Timothy 1:7

Truth: Yesterday, my daughter was nervous because Claire was sick and she needed to call the doctor. She called me and asked if I would come over, and when I got there, I reminded her of 2 Timothy 1:7 and that fear is not from God.

The nurse reassured Courtney that Claire was fine and she should begin to feel better in a few days. I’m so thankful that anytime we’re feeling fearful, we can claim 2 Timothy 1:7.

Do you have a verse you love repeating when you’re fearful?

Let your beauty shine from the inside out today!

  1. I tried on the bright pink dress and the pink and blue floral dress. They both look like total bags on me. I’m not sure how you do it but you definitely can style these dresses to make them something another would want to purchase. I had to return them both. The bright pink dress is super heavy material. And the one that I ordered online had snags in it already. .

  2. Most of my favorites have already been mentioned but I’d add Hebrews 13:5(c) “for He has said, ‘I will never leave you nor forsake you’.” and Psalm 56:3-4(b) “When I am afraid, I will put my trust in you. In God, Whose word I praise, I trust; I shall not be afraid.”
Also when my fear is health related, like Courtney’s in this story, I cling to Psalm 103:2-3 “Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits, Who forgives all your iniquity, Who heals all your diseases.” Great reminder that He is the great physician!
Thanks for sharing this story, so relateable! Hope Claire (and Courtney!) are both doing better!

  3. Psalm 61:5
From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed,: lead me to the rock that is higher than I …

Fear feels so overwhelming … that’s what our human self experiences and it swells in our being …

  4. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with Thanksgiving let your request be known to God and the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Phil. 4:6&7. Prayers for Courtney’s mama heart and Claire. Im sure you were a comfort to her to come over. You look so pretty in all these dresses. I really like the last one.

  5. My verse for years has been John 14:27, My peace I leave you, My peace I give to you; not as the world give do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
    Be safe in your travels!!

  6. Cyndi, I don’t know if you have C. H. Spurgeon’s “Cheque Book of the faith daily readings”, but if you do, today’s reading, march 14, is perfect for your daughter! This is another daily devotional, book that I have worn out for the last 20 years! I love it!
I pray she is encouraged today, and for a safe journey for you this week🙏

  7. The verse you quoted is the one I think of. I just heard a sermon from a pastor in Dallas preaching about this. He said many Christians gave over to the spirit of fear by closing their churches in 2020. His church stayed opened.

  8. 1 Peter 5:7 Casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.

Joshua 1:9 have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.

Isaiah 41:10 fear not for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you. I will uphold you with My righteous, right hand.

Psalm 41:1-3 Blessed is he who considers the poor; the Lord will preserve him, and keep him alive, and he will be blessed on the Earth; You Will not deliver him to the will of his enemies.(sickness of a child is a big enemy) The Lord will strengthen him on his sickbed of illness; You will sustain (restore) (her) him on his sick bed.

I am praying for Courtney, and for baby Claire!🙏🙏🙏

  9. The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. Deuteronomy 31:8
