Truth: We live in a youth-oriented culture. As older women, it’s easy to feel the best years are behind us. But, scripture reminds us that age and gender present no barrier. Anna was a prophet who was among the first to bear witness to Jesus.
If we are breathing, God still has a purpose for us. He reserves some of his most significant assignments to women who have attained the maturity to handle them. Don’t let a youth-oriented culture deter you from living an abundant life!

Your scripture was spot on. I’m over 60 but take excellent care of myself and that’s key, along with serving our Lord. There are so many opportunities to serve Him in our communities, along with mentoring other women. I feel 40 hallelujah!!

Thank you for the sweet reminder about Anna and those of us aging. As I’ve gotten older and see more younger ones being used so boldly, I do feel left behind…. maybe even forgotten. I love how God does not see our age, but uses us as we mature in deeper ways, higher levels and with so much grace.
