Two Amazing Eye Concealers!

If you only had time to put on one thing in your makeup bag what would that be? Hands down mine would be eye concealer. I have an olive skin color (thanks to my Dad) and I tend to have dark circles under my eyes (also thanks to my Dad). Eye concealer is a must for me! On the rare occasion that I stay home all day and decide not to put on makeup, I still wear my eye concealer.

For those of you over the age of forty…ahem, a good eye concealer is important because some concealers can cause the wrinkles under your eyes to show up more and that’s never a good thing!

I’ve read quite a bit online about the best concealers and I’m happy to say the one I use is consistently in the top ten. It’s Bobbi Brown Creamy Concealer.

This concealer hides flaws, blemishes and dark circles (yes!). It minimizes the appearance of under-eye circles and wrinkles. It.is.wonderful! Our local mall sells Bobbi Brown makeup and I love all their products.

I also buy a lot of makeup at my CVS Pharmacy. I’ve found that you can spend less and still look great! (My husband loves the spending less idea.) The great thing about buying your makeup at a CVS, RiteAid, or Walgreens is you can take the makeup back if you get the wrong color or you don’t like it. I buy and take back so much makeup at CVS  that I may have to buy the people that work there a Christmas present this year. 🙂

So if you’re looking for a great eye concealer to buy at your local drugstore here’s a good one.

Cover Girl & Olay Simply Ageless Eye Concealer………

It’s about half the price of Bobbi Brown Eye Concealer and still does a great job at covering dark circles and hiding flaws.

My number one tip about using anything on your eyes whether you’re 20, 30, 40, 50 etc. is never, ever pull on the delicate skin under your eyes. Always apply concealer by patting it on never rubbing it on.

Beauty For The Heart~~The past few weeks I have had to wait (patiently) for some test results. I was finding myself worrying so I immediately started repeating John 14:27, “Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”  There is such comfort for me in this verse. My tests came back fine and I’m thankful for that but I’m also thankful for the peace that only comes from Jesus. If you are worried or afraid, claim this verse today!

  7. Thanks for the tips on the concealer. I MIGHT be a little over 40, and I MIGHT need to use some under-eye concealer.
Love ya, Cyndi! Many blessings. 🙂

  8. I only just noticed the wrinkles under my eyes when I started to wear foundation regularly. In the past, my preference has been just powder. This post is timely because I’ve been searching for a concealer that does not emphasize my lovely crows feet :-). Do you have a favorite shadow that does not crease?

  9. I use MAC studio finish concealer, which has been my favorite so far! I need a magical night cream that will make them go away in the first place 🙂
YAY, loved this post. I will try these out!
