Beauty For the Heart~~It is absolutely clear that God has called you to a free life. Just make sure that you don’t use this freedom as an excuse to do whatever you want to do and destroy your freedom. Rather, use your freedom to serve one another in love; that’s how freedom grows. For everything we know about God’s Word is summed up in a single sentence: Love others as you love yourself. That’s an act of true freedom. Galatians 5:13-14 (The Message)

Have a blessed day!

  2. I can’t wait to see your new home 🙂 PLEASE do a post on how you organize your closet and your jewelry!!!

  3. Your mother’s day message was outstanding. I am sorry some people thought less of you, but do they really have the right to judge? No that most certainly do not. You walked away from a marriage with 2 babies to care for and that took a lot of courage. I say “bravo” to you for that leap of faith knowing you and your precious babies were better off.
I enjoy your blog and your Sunday messages. Keep up the great work that you do and don’t worry for a minute about what others think. You know in your heart what a loving, thoughtful, faithful woman you are.

  4. Thanks for sharing those summer trends but I also wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for sharing your Mother’s Day message with us. There are things I’m dealing with but I know I can not control the outcome, so I will continue to pray and grip his hem. Thank you!

  5. Love the cropped pants the soft peach with beige high heels…so feminine. As well as the flowered dress.

You have a nice way of following trends and fashion without being worldly.

God wants us to look put together, we represent an orderly life to glorify him.

  6. Thank you for sharing your heart in your testimony on Mother’s Day. I love the “gripping his hem” visual. We can heal ourselves and help lead the way to Jesus to heal others when we are honest. I love this song by Citizen Way, “when I am with you”, the first lines are “Everything is not fine, and I am not ok.” We have to stop pretending that we are. Love, Cheryl

  7. I have listened to your Mother’s Day message twice now and both times it has brought me to tears.
Thank you for sharing your heart with us. And, I am “Gripping his hem” daily. Gerri

  8. I really enjoyed your Mothers Day Talk. I am divorced was raised in a christain home. I’m the only divorced person in my family. I never thought I would be divorced but like you said we are not in control. I was given a divorce that I didn’t won’t or ask for but my god or my family was there forme. God sent me a very godly man that is a deacon and I am happier than iv ever been. When a door is closed God always opens a window. I always look forward to your post everyday.

  9. I so look forward to your posts!! They are a daily treat I’m addicted to!! I discovered your Pinterest Blog when changing jobs and going from having scrubs to needing outfits for office wear. You helped me to make the most of every item I owned until I could begin to add to it. Funny how just a few added accessories you wouldn’t have considered yourself can extend what you already have and make the most of everything! And the bonus is a scripture and verse and measure to enhance and brighten your attitude and walk with the Lord. Thank you Cyndi!

  10. Hi Cindy, I know I read somewhere what color lipstick you are wearing with the Mark Luke John shirt but I’ve searched this morning and can’t find the color listed anywhere. My memory seems to think it might be Warm Me Yp by Maybeline. Is that correct?

    1. Yes. It’s warm me up by Maybelline. I purchased it a few weeks ago. It goes with everything. Not too dark, not too light.

I read the colour Cindy uses as her “go to lipstick”.

  11. Love the cropped pant look. Will be glad when distressed jean look disappears. I don’t think it is complimentary on anyone (except teens an maybe 20 year olds). Isn’t it amazing how embarrassed people used to be when they had no choice except to wear pants with rips and holes in them?

  12. I purchased the white hand bag …a white lace top and the Harper pant from Old Navy Love them all! I am needing the leopard flat

God is so good all the time! Amen! Blessings

  13. I got a sales email from The Limited yesterday showing some flared crop pants that were flowy, and had a slit in the front at the knee – very interested in trying those – look as comfy as a skirt, but pants. Haven’t tried yet so I can’t say how they look, but I think they would be a great option for summer. I love the floral dress – and I know as we get older we have to be careful with florals – they can age us – but the one you are wearing is beautiful and so feminine.
Thanks to you and Wayne for the Mother’s Day advise about praying for our grown children – I had to do a LOT of that yesterday as my daughter and son-in-law are having some issues related to his business – he had someone steal some of the things he uses to do his work and it has cost them – time and money. Thankfully they are great young adults, and trust God’s plan. My son-in-law was so frusrated…his comment that sticks in my mind was “here I am, on my hands and knees, working really hard – they (the thieves) could see me working…and they stole from me!” This nearly broke my heart. I’m asking for prayers for them as they weather this tough time.

  14. I Cyndi I bought that cold shoulder top, runs big. I have to return for a small it IS showing it’s in stock? Ok I will let you know if they say it isn’t .
    thanks.

    1. Ugh I just realized it’s not on sale anymore. I don’t know if I want to pay the difference, it makes it a bit expensive. I might have to live with the medium. LOL

  15. Thank you for sharing these great trends! I also want to thank you for sharing your Mother’s Day talk. I watched the video twice – I was so touched by your bravery and honesty. I struggle with much of the same issues, holding on to past sins and letting that mindset seep into my present joy. Thank you for showing that it is a process and the enemy will always take the opportunity to remind us why we are not worthy. Thank you for reminding us we are all His precious children.

  16. Cyndi.. last night I opened my bible and began reading only to find out that I was on the exact verse of “gripping HIS Hem”. My mind was blown, then I quickly remembered how God has perfect timing in everything He does! I knew I was meant to hear that message you spoke on, and He confirmed it. Thank you for being the perfect messenger God is definitely using you to touch people’s lives. I am in love with the white purse outfit! I love the colors and style! I am gaga for floral right now too. I am going bananas over those leopard flats! Have a blessed day and know what a blessing you are to many. xo

  17. I like the idea of a handbag backpack. So functional. Cropped pants are great for warm weather, but the wide leg is hard to wear. I’m still working on figuring out that one. I haven’t found a pair that look good on me yet….
