Cozy Loungewear Roundup

Happy first day of spring! This has been a long week, hasn’t it? But we’ve made it, and while we still have a long few weeks ahead of us, there are lots of ways we can make the best of our time at home.

One thing that I’ve noticed is cozy loungewear is trending. I wanted to share the Colsie brand from Target with you, but most of it is sold out.

I did find more cute cozy loungewear, and most of it is on sale. If we’re going to be stuck at home, we might as well be comfortable and cute!

Many of you may be working from home for the first time, and working from home has its challenges. I’ve been working from home for five years, and I have found I do best when I get up and shower and get ready first thing in the morning.

I’m more productive, and I feel better! So get ready even if you’re going to wear loungewear all day.

Thank you for taking the time out of your day to stop by my blog. I’m also on FacebookPinterest, and Instagram.

Beauty For the Heart~~If you look at the world, you’ll be distressed. If you look within, you’ll be depressed. If you look at God, you’ll be at rest. -Corrie Ten Boom

When I read this quote, the hymn Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus came to my mind. The chorus says this:

Turn your eyes upon Jesus,
Look full in His wonderful face,
And the things of earth will grow strangely dim,
In the light of His glory and grace.

Let’s turn our eyes to Jesus!

Have a blessed day!

  1. Hi Cyndi,
Thanks for the uplifting post! I really need it today! We left Ohio February 17, visited friends and family on west coast of Florida, then went on a cruise February 22-29, then stayed 2 weeks in Pt. St. Lucie in a condo with friends. They left early because of the virus. We are now in Myrtle Beach and the weather is sunny and beautiful, but everything is shut down, so I want to go home! What is wrong with me? I have so much to be thankful for, but yet I am sad! We will be leaving Wednesday and I can hardly wait! Everything is shut down there, too!
Please pray that this depression will end!

  2. I commented the other day and have not read any response yet ; likely wait about a week ? Thanks.
    Margaret

    1. Margaret, I don’t see a question from you. I apologize but I was on vacation last week with limited internet so I might have missed it.

  3. Hello from Sunshine State, Queensland -Australia. I live in Brisbane and have been following your blog for one year. Love your fashion and daily messages. God bless you and your family !

  4. Comfy clothes have certainly been on my agenda the past few days as I adjust to working from home.
    Loved BFTH today!

  5. Thank you for this post Cyndi! You shared some really cute pieces! It reminded me that if I am not going to be doing yard work or have to leave the house, now is the time that I can wear loungewear. Our friends/neighbors are staying away since Larry is very high risk. I’m glad you get to FaceTime with your grandchildren. Claire is such a cutie! I love the song you had in the BFTH.

  6. Amen to your BFTH. It’s the only thing we can do right now. This is hard and I told my husband this AM the hardest is not getting to see my grandbaby. My husband works in the health field and I don’t want to give her anything. I miss her sooo much. FaceTime isn’t the same. She was born premature In August so she already had an isolated start with her mommy and daddy so this is hard for them to do this now after they finally were getting brave to go out with her some. God is good and they are trying to count their blessings everyday. That reminds me of the song “Count Your Many Blessings”. I have been trying to do this and go further with saying them out loud. Like the song says….. name then one by one……Count your many blessings see what God hath done. Cute picture of Claire Cyndi. Great lounge wear post. All I wear lately. Blessings ladies.

  7. Thank you for your post today and I’m “getting things done” being home, no excuses now!!
    Have a blessed day!

  8. I enjoy getting your positive emails every day. Thank you for including the Heart messages at the end of your emails. It’s a nice reminder daily that there is hope and blessings daily.

  9. Curious as to whether most readers have had church services canceled. Our county has been put under a state of emergency, and most church services canceled. We are doing ours online, though.
I am living in my exercise gear, or in pajamas. Nothing in between! Lol!

    1. I live in middle TN a few miles from Nashville. Many churches in this area have canceled services and activities for the next two weeks and possibly longer.

  10. I want to thank you for reminding me of the hymn Turn you eyes upon Jesus. I have printed it out and posted it on my computer.

  11. My husband is on a flight coming home from Japan as I type. His company is bringing him home before the airlines stop service all together. So . . . starting tonight, we will be self-quarantined for 2 weeks. As long as I have no symptoms in the 2 weeks, my boss will allow me to come in after hours to work. I promised I would wipe down everything I touched.

This is going to be tough, as we have 4 beautiful grandsons that we won’t be able to see. Thank goodness for Facetime & text messaging.

  12. Love the quote and pjs.
Was just thinking about her book the
Hiding place and thinking about her strong faith.
I will be out breathing fresh air walking and
    Spring cleaning.

  13. Thank you, Cyndi, for your posts. In this time of confusion, uncertainty & calamity it’s nice to see your name pop up in my email. I know when I open your email there will be something to take my mind off all the worldly cares & bring a smile to my face, if only briefly. And I love the inspiration you leave us with. This is a difficult time, but it can be a time of growth for us, as children of God. Thank you for that.

  14. Thank you so much for today’s Corrie Ten Boom quote and the hymn. Beautiful words to share! They gave me comfort and peace.

  15. Please keep posting fun stuff. I love all of the fun earrings that you wear. I have bought a few
Of them because I saw them on you.

    1. Homeschool is in. Since schools are closed. Getting up and taking a shower and putting on cute spring clothes light makeup and combing hair does help one feel better about theirselves. After class is over been catching up on unfinished projects

  16. What a doll Claire is:) so nice to see her sporting eyelet which I just heard is big this season…I work from home anyway for our business but sure miss going out to run my errands and attend bible study and interact with family and friends. I went through my spring and summer clothes and have one more chest to go through,. Seeing what I have or need and getting rid of stuff I no longer wear. Feels good. .. Plus I figured yesterday I may as well start my spring house cleaning.

  17. I am going to see if there is a way that I could connect with some Seniors from church and do some yard work for them. I love to be outside and would love a project that would specifically help someone and bless them. Talk to them through their door frame/window.

    1. I love the “cherry” rug in the kitchen and the length of it. Can you please ask your daughter where she purchased it? Thank you for your uplifting messages and sharing real life situations.

  18. No real plans for the weekend. We are in a small apartment, so no yard work or projects…I will be outside walking as much as possible. FaceTime with the grand kiddos/our sons and daughters in law. Going to check in with some Seniors from church to see how they are doing.

  19. Yes, working from home is presenting its challenges. I have taught on-line, but not a language course where conversation is a major component of the course. Welcoming me to Zoom! I have had a week to prepare (as we are on Spring Break), but Monday is just around the corner, and we will be on-line through this semester. We will get through this.
The hardest for us is that our daughter’s baby shower is in mid-April, and we are supposed to fly down (carrying a special cake) for it. As we get closer to the date, we are afraid we will have to cancel. We are brokenhearted. She has survived cancer twice, a miracle she was able to get pregnant (IVF and her only embryo to survive), and we may miss this celebration with them. We so wanted to see her, celebrate with them, and give her our gifts (including a baby blanket I knitted.) But the safety and health of everyone are most important. It is looking more and more as if we will have to cancel. Just thinking about it causes tears, but we will get through this. Wishing everyone good health. Thank you for your blog! I love this break from work and news.

    1. Arena. I can sympathize with you. My daughter is due in May with her first baby and has had a very tough pregnancy. Her two baby showers….. family and friend ones are canceled. I wanted to cry too. Such a special time to celebrate. I hope all works out for you. Praise HIM for her pregnancy. A miracle sounds like.
