He Is Risen!

As the women approached the tomb to pay their last respects to Jesus, the earth seemed to tremble beneath their feet. The heaviness they felt that morning was intense. However, instead of finding an empty tomb, they were greeted by a radiant angel.

Then, the angel spoke to the women. “Don’t be afraid!” he said. “I know you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He isn’t here! He is risen from the dead, just as he said would happen. Matthew 28:5-6

His first words? Don’t be afraid. The angel knew that fear would be their first response, and he immediately assured them there was no reason to fear.

The same is true for us, because we know Jesus, we have no reason to fear.

Next comes the proclamation that echoes through the ages: He isn’t here! He is risen from the dead, just as he said would happen. Death is defeated!

This is the greatest message of hope. Even in the face of our deepest grief, our most profound loss, the promise of resurrection is the hope we cling to.

He is Risen! Let this truth sink in today – Jesus conquered death, and He is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6)!

He is alive, and He has the power to transform lives.

Happy Easter, friends!
