Let’s Praise Him!

Yesterday was a beautiful Sunday in Kentucky.

We even went for a Sunday afternoon drive.

Today as I look out storm clouds are a brewin’!

Isn’t that how it always goes.

The weather can be crazy!

But isn’t that also how life can be?

One day everything is beautiful and sunny.

Our family is healthy, everyone is getting along, our bills are paid…..

and the next day storms are everywhere!

We find out someone we love has cancer, our husband loses his job, our car breaks down, and the list goes on.

Here’s what I’ve learned……..

No matter what our situation we need to give Jesus PRAISE.

The more I PRAISE Him on the good days the easier it will be to PRAISE Him on the not-so-good days.

Luke 19: 40 (AMP) says,  “He replied, I tell you that if these keep silent, the very stones will cry out.”

If we don’t PRAISE Him the rocks will!

So today, I thought it would be neat to start the week off with PRAISE.

Please leave me a comment and let me know what you have to PRAISE Him for today.

I’ll get us started………..

Today I’m praising Jesus for my husband who loves me, I mean really loves me, even on the days I don’t deserve it.

He sees me at my best but he also sees me at my worst and he still adores me and I adore him.

I’m so thankful to be sharing my life with him.

Okay, I want to hear from you!!

Things may or may not be great in your life right now but surely you can find something to PRAISE him about.

Thanks so much for sharing sweet friends……

Walking in His Grace,

  1. Hi Cyndi. I just found your blog and I love it. My problem is that in all of your photos, you are wearing scarves. I cannot wear a scarf. I’m not going through menopause yet but I can’t stand anything around my neck I get hot very easily, even in winter and all these outfits look so put together with the finish touch up a scarf. How can I dress my outfits up without the scarves. A lot of the times I can’t even get away with layering. I need help. Thanks

  2. I praise God for a beautiful niece who has brought so much joy to our family after we lost our step dad. She knows she has 5 aunties and 1 grandma who would give her anything!

  3. I praise God for a husband who still looks after his 92 year old mother. When I see the care and thought he gives her I know that blesses me as well — a man who respects his mother and treats her tenderly will treat his wife (me) the same way. And I’m grateful that her heart attack last night wasn’t fatal. We have her for a while longer.

  4. Today I am praising God for providing a tax return large enough to fix the transmission, and a few small things, in our car. We may not have “the more” we’ve been praying for, but we always have enough!

  5. I praise the Lord today because he loves me even when I am not so lovable and that my husband has had a good day. I am so thankful for each day He gives us. I am so blessed for friends and family who pray for him daily.

  6. I praise God for my job. I am working a few extra hours this week and that is always a blessing. 🙂

    Rebecca

  7. I praise Him for all my many blessings. I praise Him for my husband, two children, grandchildren, warm home, and food. I praise Him for watching over my son as he soon returns to Afghanistan to serve as a doctor for our soldiers.

  8. I am going to say my husband, too- he is a hard worker and a man of integrity and just pinned on Lt. Col today.

  9. Today I’m praising God for the vehicle we have. I so want to have my own car, but I’m gonna praise God that we do have a vehicle. Gonna focus on praising Him for what we have and not focus on what we don’t have.

  10. Great devotion Cyndi! I have not slept well at all lately and had hardly any sleep last night. But I am praising God that He is my strength and my portion today! 🙂
