Happy hump day ladies! Today I’m sharing the slouchy boot trend that is making a comeback this year. This style is straight out of the 1980s, and it promises to be the perfect boot to pair with everything from printed midi dresses to pleated skirts and slim-fitting jeans.

I’m pairing my slouchy boot with a pretty floral print dress, and I added a faux leather jacket for some added detail.
I’m wearing the black suede, but the boot comes in two more colors including chocolate suede and a really pretty taupe suede.
I rarely wear a flat boot, but I know many of you have asked for a lower heel. These are very comfortable and a great option if you don’t wear heels.

FYI, I love this dress, but it does have a large opening in the back, which is why I prefer to wear it with a jacket or a cardigan.

Not loving the slouchy boots, and I wan’t a fan in the 80s. I love a good riding boot, a dressy boot with a higher heel, or even cute booties. I think my tastes are a little more preppy. LOVE, love the dress. May order it today.

Love the pictures and hearing about your grandkids….such cute pictures and great memories. You look great in the blog today. I have boots like that in grey,but have had them a few years so thought they were out of style. My heel even lower so feel frumpy in them. Never wore them much.
Cute outfit! I love flat boots. I think they are safer when the roads/sidewalks are slippery. I wouldn’t invest in slouchy boots as I don’t see them lasting. An inexpensive pair allows you to enjoy the trend then donate.
