Making Moving Day Easier with Walmart+

Tremendous thanks to Walmart+ for sponsoring this post.

Moving is a hectic time, and the last thing I want to worry about is grocery shopping. That’s where Walmart+ comes in. With my Walmart+ membership, I can order groceries online and have them delivered right to our new home for free, so I can focus on the other tasks, like unpacking all these boxes. ($35 order minimum, restrictions apply).

We have not been cooking a lot lately, and I want to have some healthy options to eat while working around the house.

I stocked my refrigerator with all the basics, like milk, eggs, water, juice, etc. I also ordered items that are great for creating a charcuterie board. I love keeping it out on the counter so we can snack throughout the day. It’s healthier than fast food, and I don’t have to worry about fixing lunch.
Here’s what I ordered to put together a charcuterie board:

Colt, Claire, and Caroline are coming over with my daughter so she can help me get organized; I made sure there were some things for the kids, like the goldfish.

While my house is a mess right now, at least I have some food and drinks, which makes life easier.

Walmart+ offers a variety of benefits, including free delivery on groceries ($35 order minimum, restrictions apply), fuel discounts at over 14k participating stations nationwide, and early access to events and deals. If you’re looking for a way to save time and money on your grocery shopping, a Walmart+ membership is a great option. (See Walmart+ Terms & Conditions for more).

Walmart+ thinks you’ll like it so much that there’s a 30-day free trial you can easily sign up for if you want to try it out! Go HERE to sign up.

Thank you for taking the time out of your day to stop by my blog. I’m also on FacebookPinterest, and Instagram.

Beauty For the Heart™Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6

Truth: These verses give us advice on how to live our lives. When we trust in God, we acknowledge that He is the one who knows what is best for us. We also submit to His will and allow Him to guide our lives. This can be difficult, especially when we are faced with challenges or difficult decisions. But if we trust in God, He will always lead us in the right direction.

The promise at the end of these verses is that if we trust in God, He will make our paths straight. This doesn’t mean that our lives will always be easy, but it does mean that God will be with us through it all, and His way is always the best way.

Let your beauty shine from the inside out today.

  1. Cyndi, thank you for sharing the story about the new owner of your previous home! God is SO GOOD! What an affirmation that she’s made the right decision by moving to Kentucky!

  2. I’m sure your new home is beautiful. I’m not sure my last message came through. I will eventually leave California, I’m interested in other areas. What area Kentucky do you recommend to look at? So glad to get your ideas. I would’ve never known about making a snack board like you demonstrated.

  3. I love the charcuterie board especially the salami flower! I’ll have to google that – how to. Any tips? Many blessings to you and Wayne in your new home!

  4. God is good! I had chills reading your post! God can show up in the most mysterious places and bring us comfort! May the new ower of your home find the love that you and Wayne left in your previous home!

Once you are settled, you will love and enjoy your new home!

    God is Love!

    Denise

  5. Thank you for sharing the story about your home and beauty for the heart. I lost my dad a week ago and life feels unstable. I have several decisions to make and feel overwhelmed. I miss him so much. It is comforting to know he is in heaven but it isn’t the same.

    1. I love your post & keep everyone of them. Somehow I feel I have a true friend in you. We can all use ever true friend we can get. Good luck with the unpacking my friend. Much love to you and your family. God is with you today!😇

  6. I don’t know why every time I try to comment it says I’ve said that before (when I know I haven’t)! However, I love the He Lives God wink story. That is one of my favorite hymns. What nice painters you have to bring you pastries. Thank you for sharing your charcuterie board idea.
    God bless you!

  7. That’s my favorite proverb. Your God story is so touching. My granddaughter knows how to make the flower cold cuts. It all looks tasty.

  8. Yes! But God! Loved this!

Selling recently, we also gave the new owners a list of the paint brand, color names/numbers, finish, and the rooms we used them. Just in case a touch-up was needed later!

  9. Great idea to make up a board to snack on throughout the day. We eat very healthy too….. only organic and when we are gone, forced to eat out I miss cooking at home. Must be tricky trying to have painters paint while you have boxes everywhere. Loved the story about the lady who bought your house. Maybe someday you will meet her or she will join your church. God is so Good even in the midst of our trials. He cares.

    1. Congratulations on your new house. It looks beautiful. Your Charcuterie board is beautiful, I love to make up one just for my husband and I. God bless you, love your blog and your Bible quote.

  10. Dear Cyndi – I literally got chills when I read your story! I absolutely love it when God does those awesome little coincidences in our lives. I love that song and I can just imagine how it touched her when she received that welcoming gift!

  11. What a God moment! I have decided just now to have that perfect song for my funeral when it’s my time. Thank you for sharing.

  12. I just love God moments, I had a son pass away at 28 years old and I call those God moments “God Winks”. My son has been gone 5 1/2 years and there are still times where I get little God Winks and I know it is from the Lord. I am always amazed at how He works. Enjoy getting organized and everything unpacked. Your home looks beautiful!

  13. What a wonderful God moment! Thank you for all your uplifting stories…you always brighten my day.

  14. Thank you for sharing the beautiful story Cyndi. You have a big heart to think of the new owners and leave something behind. What a wonderful God’s gift to both of you.

  15. Cyndi, those “God moments” have happened to me so frequently in my life that I know they are real! How precious that you had one such moment w/ the lady when she probably needed it most.

Just wondering: when you get moved on, are you going to post new house pics? Your followers are eager to see it!

  16. I LOVE what I can see of your new house!

Isn’t it wonderful that God cares so much for us, that upon arrival in a new state, a new home, He immediately lets us know that He is with us and will never leave us? What a thoughtful act on your part to bless your new homeowners with a sweet gift, giving God the glory.

  17. What a touching story.

I can’t believe how great you look on moving day and made a decorative spread. We moved in 2019 and it was zero makeup, hair up and fast food for days.

  18. Congratulations on the new house, its so exciting! I loved the story about the note you left….our family is going thru some really hard legal issues right now, and my husband keeps saying that God is in control. I guess I have to be reminded of that!I have enjoyed your blog for so many years, and I do believe that my daily email from you is such a Godsend and blessing. Thank you for always showing us what a great Christian and believer example you are to so many! Blessings to you!

  23. Cyndi,
I cried along with you last night on Instagram and again this morning reading your blog. It is a beautiful testimony. Your heartfelt gifts and best wishes for the new owner made a lasting memory for her as well as myself. You are an inspiration. Blessings in your new home ❤️

  24. Congratulations on your new home! I have been thinking about ordering the gold plated hoop earrings from Amazon. What size hoops did you get?

  25. Such a thoughtful gesture to the new owner. “Because HE Lives” is one of my favorite hymns. 🩷. I guess I’ve been out of the loop lately- didn’t know you were moving. Anyway congrats & happy unpacking 😉

  26. Happy New Home Cyndi and Wayne, hope you will be very happy there. Such beautiful words on your post, brought a tear to my eye. What’s the saying ‘God moves in mysterious ways’

  29. May God bless you and your family in your new home. God is good and our lives are so much better when we let him be the center of our focus. I pray for the new comer to Kentucky to find comfort and happiness in her new home and community. We know that if God gives us oxygen to breathe and the earth beneath our feet, then he will certainly meet all of our needs.

  30. Your new house is adorable- hopefully it will feel like home real soon. It was so thoughtful of you to leave a gift for the new owner. I love your posts!

  31. How wonderful that God used you to touch someone you didn’t even know. Is He GOOD or what?!?

I love a charcuterie tray! It’s so hot here I’ve been making one about twice a week for my family. Everyone loves it and I don’t have to turn on the stove or oven. Win-Win!

Hope you get all organized quickly. Have a blessed day! ❤️

  32. That is a beautiful testimony of God’s goodness to all of us! Thank you so much for sharing that, Cyndi. It brought tears to my eyes, as my family and I are going through some hard changes. God is in the details! Congratulations on your new home. Can’t wait to see more of it. The charcuterie board looks scrumptious!

  33. I had tears last night as I watched your story on instagram! One of my favorite hymns. You never know when God uses an opportunity and opens a door! As a believer I don’t believe in coincidences ❤️😉

  34. Thank you for sharing about the buyer. I love how God goes before us and works in the details. We just have to listen for those nudges from the Holy Spirit. I needed that reminder today.❤️

  35. You’re story about had me in tears! I can’t wait to see more of your new house. The outside is darling! I love charcuterie…we’re having that for “cocktail” hour at the wedding NEXT Sunday💜.

  36. Because He Lives. Something we all need to hear at times. It was such a favorite hymn in the little country church we went to when my kids were growing up. It brings back such sweet memories. Thank you for sharing. It was definitely a blessing for the new owner. I pray for you both on your new journeys.

  37. Beautiful story, thank you for sharing. We never know how God will use us AND our words to shine His light. Blessings to you as you get settled in your new home. Quick question, I know you’ve shared the link for your bracelets (in these photos) before however I could not locate it. Would you mind sharing again? Thanks and have a blessed day!

    1. I am relatively new to following an influencer and have tried several that I felt were relevant to me and my stage of life. Thank you for your bold witness for Jesus. Besides having an awesome sense of style your genuine faith and faithfulness to share it are what make you stand out from all the others. Thank you Cyndi!

  38. I am tears running down my face after reading your email. What a beautiful story… i hoped the note you left the new owner helped her. I am crying because that hymn was played at my husbands funeral… just three weeks ago. My daughters and i ate still in disbelief over our loss… it was unexpected. I needed that reminder that God is with me even though this terrible time of suffering where i can barely put one foot in front of the other.

Enjoy your née beautiful home and don’t take one day for granted. Create all the memories you can.

  39. I loved your story of the new owner who had just lost her daughter, your gift and note with the song! I broke into tears just now after ready it! Thank you for sharing that and May God continue to bless you, your business and family! ❤️

  43. Hi Cyndi, I watched your IG last night and was moved to tears myself. God sure is awesome! Love the pictures from your new home. We downsized our home 5 years ago and I have come to love this little house so much. We’ve made a lot of memories here. Take your time unpacking and enjoy your new home!

  44. Wow! That was totally a God moment Re He Lives. Thank you for sharing. Very inspired as I sip my tea. I moved here from California many years ago and LOVE Kentucky. Wonderful people and gorgeous country. I live in Villa Hills and love that less than 10 min from my home I am in open country. I feel very fortunate to call KY my home.
One request: How did you make that beautiful flower out of the hard salami?!

  45. I loved your story about the gift for the new homeowner! What a way to bless someone! And that song… it’s a great one! Hope the unpacking goes smoothly! Thank you for blessing your readers!!

  46. Cyndi, your new home looks beautiful! I love the photo of you in front of your house with all the boxes!😀 The God story is absolutely precious and a beautiful reminder. Thank you for sharing it. As I’ve shared with you I’ve recently moved and still unpacking so your charcuterie board is a very welcome idea! Thank you for sharing that as well! Happy unpacking!

  47. I had a lump in my throat and my eyes watered…..I’m blessed in so many ways and I hope you have many new blessings in your new home.

    1. Cyndi, reading the story of what you did, filled my eyes with tears.🥹
I love how God works in us and through us, if we let Him!! I’m just imagining how the new home owner feels!🙂
I think I’m going to make a charcuterie board this weekend, thanks for sharing.
PS…. I love the look of the out side of your home!

  48. I watched your IG story about the card and gift and you made me cry too, again. You are so right about God in the details. He always knows what we need even when we don’t. Thank you for sharing this- I’m sure it was hard to be that vulnerable on IG.

  49. Love your God story you shared this morning. So amazing how God speaks or is with us when we truly need him. Look forward to reading your blog everyday! ❤ Your house looks beautiful!

  50. Cyndi,
Welcome to your new home and congratulations! It looks beautiful and I pray you and your family make many happy memories there. As a military wife I have moved many times but just last month made my final move because my husband retired from USAF and we moved from his last duty station in SoCal to his hometown of Knoxville, TN. Moving is very hard and it never got easier with all the times I did it so you are completely justified in feeling a little crazy! Loved your story and have had something similar happen to our family recently. God is so good and so faithful! Love you and your blog! 💙 God bless you!

  51. Cyndi-
What a sweet thing to do to welcome the new owner, not an accident at all! That is one of my favorite songs as well. A charcuterie board is delicious and smart- no cooking required. Our neighbors brought us a similar thing, but in a covered plate recently.
You are making me want to try Walmart delivery. I have already been doing grocery pickup for a couple years- it saves time and money.
I’m so glad to see you and Wayne are settling in and slowly getting things unpacked. Enjoy every moment. Have a great day with Courtney and the grandchildren- those are my favorite days!
    Donna

  52. I Love God stories! Thanks for sharing. I can relate we built a home and just moved in April. Enjoy your new home.

  53. I love your kitchen cabinets especially the glass ones and the fact that are painted green. I love white cabinets too but they are everywhere and nice to see something different and the dark wood countertops. My plumber doing out bathroom mentioned they were coming back. The outside is so beautiful and fresh also!!!I love the stone on the outside & new landscaping too. Basically I love everything and can see why you both decided to move. Enjoy your delicious food and unpacking!! Off to the gym & wanted to mention how thoughtful that was of you to leave a note, candle for the sweet lady. Because he lives………..I am Baptist so definitely know that one. 🙂

  54. Cyndi, congratulations on moving into your new home. Unpacking is such a chore. I’m so happy for you that God revealed himself to you in such a sweet way, once again. He is so good how He blesses us and uses us to bless others!!! Happy unpacking!!

  55. Thank you for sharing your God moment. I love when we see Him in the details. What a beautiful story. I will pray for the women who just moved into your previous home. A friend from church just lost her son yesterday. He was in a motorcycle accident. Losing a child has got to be the worst thing for a parent to experience.

Your new home looks lovely! Can’t wait to see more. Thanks for sharing. Have a blessed day Cyndi.

  56. Thank you for sharing the touching way that you signed the card for the new homeowner. Because He Lives is one of my favorite hymns!!

    1. Just finished my morning walk and reading this post. I’m just so touched by your perfect message left for the new home owner. One of my all time favorite songs growing up in church and always the perfect reminder of God’s love. I used to work with a few ladies that always had a saying that I loved when times were worrisome, troublesome, heartbreaking as well as rejoicing over.
They would say “ Won’t he do it!”
He brings us thru it every time. It may not be the way we had planned but he is always walking thru it with us every step of the way.
I’m also thankful he puts the right people at the right time in our path too.
Enjoy your new beautiful home and all that comes with making it your own along with the many memories you will make there. God bless!
